I was sent this photo yesterday by my daughter who live in Eltham South London where they had a lot of snow last week. It was taken with a Canon G2 camera and the flower in its pot had been standing under a dripping icicle hanging from the gutter and it had been dripped on all day and the night in the freezing weather. I thought was very unusual sight and thought other folks might like to see it.
That's rather beautiful. Interesting to see how the plant is still retaining its colour and shape rather than going black and limp, despite the slow process of it freezing.

Beautiful at the moment, but I would imagine the black and limp will come with the thaw which is a shame.

Hi Caz & All who commented. My daughter has just sent an e-mail to say to say that the plant has now thawed out and that the flower is not black and is as good as ever.!!
