I Got Bored Too!

Snowy outside, cold, so had to pass the time somehow.

I rigged up a bird table of fortune and stuck it up outside a first floor window. It got to be quite popular with the small birds.

They co-exist quite well



Until the greenfinches arrive. They are like a crowd of unruly schoolkids!



It passed an hour or two in very challenging light conditions, and focus is not always the best through a window pane.

Although hair loss is a problem in this weather and my back is not as straight as it once was, I find my ageing mind still working as eagerly as it was when it was 30. I don't mind the loss of hair or the ageing process to an extent, but unfortunately as when I was 30ish I still get bored too easily.

Hence my enjoyment of being out and about enjoying my hobby with the camera. I think we all see a new picture every other second and wonder at the end of the day how many of us can visualise most of what we have seen? Perhaps if I remembered more I wouldn't get so bored.

At least I have a lovely companion with me which helps take my mind off matters of little importance.

Pleasing to see I'm not the only one who picks up the camera and shoots birds!
