Went to an excellent gig last week in Leamington Spa, which isn't far from me and they seem to get better acts than Northampton.
I've been a fan of this lad for quite a few years. Having got there in what we thought was plenty of time, we ended up at the side of the stage so a lot of these shots are angled.
I do like to take gig shots in natural light, and was trying to capture the stage lights behind the double bassist in this shot:

A dark image, but one I like:

As I said, I prefer to use stage lighting but there was a young lass behind me with a DSLR flashing away so I thought I'd try one shot with flash, but I'm not keen - so it's here for your comments on how I could (or should?) use flash at gigs?
