Spotted Bearded Tit

I came across this guy getting all excited about the sighting of a Bearded Tit

As my bird identification is limited to "Blackbird", "Robin (if it's facing me)", "Magpie", and a few other VERY well known ones I tend to photograph the people in the environment, doing their thing.

I was attracted by the way this guy became an almost silhouette against the light tops of the reeds. He had so much camouflage on his camera it made identification near impossible, but also made him stand out against the background

There actually was some of them about, according to the chap trying to photograph them, and I did get a glimps of some fleeting movement that he claimed to be one.

What I now know is that they are very fast moving, tiny little things, that are completely uncooperative towards those trying to look at them.

Lots of people were turning up to see it, which I found out to my cost, as when I got back to the visitor centre all the hot food had been sold.
