Miscellaneous pics from Lower Slaughter

...and no, these are not the standard Cotswold views... An American friend came to visit earlier in the year and since I'd left him to do London on his own I thought I'd take him down to the Cotswolds for the other side of the coin.

These were taken in Lower Slaughter, although I was surprised that he preferred the busier and touristier (if there's such a word) Bourton on the Water.

Oh dear - your jokes don't get any better (Mind you, neither do mine!)

My visitor was a gentleman who I'd started "talking to" on flickr - I can't remember who started writing first as it was about 4 years ago, so when he said that he was coming to Europe I invited him to stay for a couple of days with us.

And just to prove that I didn't slaughter him,
