You've reminded me of a picci I have of deer and 'Bambis' congregating in a field in the farm just over the brow of the hill from us. It's very distant as the road is private - but I'll see if I can dig it out and will post later.
Found the picci. It's not very good, just a distant grab from a pull-in on a private lane. This shot was taken a few years ago too so maybe you've already seen it.
The deer tend to gather on or near the same farm most years from about Nov-Feb. There are lots of accidents on those lanes due to wild deer. Also the main roads - which is why we have Deer deterrents on the front of the vehicles.
