...taken on our annual holiday to celebrate, yet another birthday of mine.

We managed in a few short wettish days to cover much ground and I intend to make another thread or so over the next couple of weeks.

We also managed to fit in (care of the official 'Half Price Ticket Bureau' Leicester Square) four shows. No pix here - sorry.

HMS Victory
Nelson's Ship in a Bottle is a 1:30 scale model of HMS Victory measuring 4.7 metres in length and is the first Fourth Plinth commission to reflect the historic symbolism of Trafalgar Square.

The ship is decorated with 37 large sails made from richly patterned African dress textiles, symbolic of African identity and independence.

+1, nice, I especially like the last one. The one with the autumn leaves seems to have a fairly strong colour cast, with playing around a bit with it in Google Picasa I got this.

I think I prefer your pic of squirrel, with the original colour cast! Ad's version makes the poor squirrel look a bit queasy with the green colour cast!
I was going to say your last pic was St James park as when last visiting London, we walked along the pathway next to water as a shortcut to catching a bus! Very pretty there & great shot you have taken!
