I never tire of watching these graceful birds in flight.
Again. One or two of you, may have seen this one.
Beautiful.
Pity there wasn't a third one then you could've used them for models for a set of those china ones that our mothers and grannies hung on the wall. I remember my mother having a set back in the 50s. She had them 'flying upstairs on the wall going up the stairs. I knocked on off throwing a ball on the wall - broke the ornament and get me bottom smacked for playing 'two ballee' in the house.
Garry don't get me wrong I like the image, but having a nice consistant background of greenery and then just one little corner spoiling the shot?
If you think it looks ok then thats fine

No! That's a fair comment, Ash
One of my failings, is that I take great care, in getting the target right, and then forgetting the background.

I wouldn't regard that as a failing actually. I always think the main priority with wildlife shots, especially with birds in flight, is to concentrate on just getting the shot.
Naturally one needs to try to position oneself in the most ideal place possible - but there's really nothing you can do if the bird decides to fly over less than ideal background scenery!
If you can get a perfect bird-in-flight shot against a perfect background - then that's a bonus - an extra thrill imho.
