    messing around with water this afternoon.... I like this one, remonded me of a seal balancing a ball

    Never tried it! But might have a go.

      Its a good attempt pops, and an interesting subject that you can spend hours on The colour does not seam right.
      Give us a bit more info on your setup.

        Yer right. The shape of the splash column is exactly like a seal.

        Have you ever tried splash shots using a background of multicoloured paper (or fabric). the idea is that it's the reflection you're photographing so the multicoloured background makes the water column and splash have different colours.

        I used to have a link somewhere demonstrating the end results. that and also shadows created by the splashes. I can't find it atm but I'll let you know if I can dig it out.

            It's one I shall keep but its not what I'm after. Need to make a few alterations and try some different methods.
            It passes the time nicely till it stops raining
