Aaaah - the first two are priceless! Wonderful pics.
The little chap in the first one is so delightful.
That second one is most definitely one for an enlargment and the album. I love it! Beautiful model, lovely details - altogether an absolute belter!

When I was a kid I used to go fishing with my father (salmon and trout). I'd handle the fish no bother - but went right off it all when I was about 12-13 iirc. My father affectionately called me 'son' and that name stuck until the day he died.
I hate handling raw fish, but I'll gut them if I can't persuade anyone else to do it. I can't see myself ever eating Sushi though.

One of our sons loves Japaese food, especially Sushi and the raw fish dishes. He's the one who was always hopping over to Japan for a few days ... mainly for the food but we also knew about a certain young Japanese lady he knew from Uni, where they'd shared a flat.
He stopped going to Japan about a couple of years ago ... then suddenly became near enough fluent in Polish.

Re: Didjo island, Leyte
The 4th shot looks very similar to Fiji as well as some beaches in Mombasa, Kenya! Then again shacks & houses in both Seychelles and in Mombasa had rooves made of coconut palm leaves like these here! I guess many tropical islands/places use same materials found locally & easily!Jocelyn

Love the first two and the cockerel is good also.
As Pol says the one of Lara is for the album.
I'm confused, I was going to place a comment and rate it but was told I wasn't logged in and then when I did that it was the wrong name etc.
I then see I have been linked to the 4/3 site of which I am not a member!
So, I couldn't rate it or leave a comment.
Anyway, I would have given it 9.

Re: Didjo island, Leyte
Great second shot Ian, Im always curious to no what these remote islands make of modern technology when they see it, I think the little boy in the first shot is wondering if your shooting cropped or full frame sensor
And I bet he is dying to ask you for a go with it!
