      Thanks Gary - Olympus E-5, Zuiko Digital 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5.

I do worry people will think this is too dark, but it's faithful to the conditions when taken (overcast morning under the tree canopy. These are wild monkeys of course, not a zoo!

It's processed in Lightroom, but from a camera JPEG as RAW is not yet supported in LR for the E-5.

        Thanks for the info Ian

The photo is not dark. Not to me anyhow.
I do quite a lot of low lit photography. Birds mainly.
I never try to lighten them too much, as I want the photo's to be as i saw them. Not as people think they should be.
Perhaps I'll put some up to show you later.

It's a delightful shot. Not too dark at all on my screen - just right and the colours also look natural and realistic.

I like the way you've managed to capture it posing with its bum on one trunk with hands and feet on the other. It looks comfortable, looks like it might giving you a slight smile there too.

Are they friendly or do they attack or bite if anyone gets too close?

That is a very good demo of the E5 Ian

I know what it is like under the canopy of the forest/Jungle and it looks natural.

I have reserved an E5 and hope to have it end of this month/beginning of next. There is tremendous scope for the camera and I am already planning how I am going to use it
            Kind regards

I like this just as it is. I find overbrightening wildlife shots is offputting and not at all natural.

Hi Pol, they are quite timid, although where we were the caretaker (who is familiar to them) put some bananas out to lure them closer. I think if they were cornered they would fight, but they would prefer to run and jump for it!
