I will get it right, next time!
My own preferred method is to use the 'My Pics' link beneath the smilies - then choose 'Original Image' and 'Inline' from the drop down menu in the 'my pics' window.
Are you there, Stephen? If so, please could you correct Garry's image code links.

I will get used to this!
Just a few photos of birds.
Some of you will have seen these before.
Did you use a zoom or was it a prime? If it was the prime. Do you use teleconverter and, if so, which one. Is it Canon or is it third party?
I have a Kenko 1.4 which works fully on the older cameras but will only work manually on the later K20D and better prime lens. Mind you - I get better quality from a cropped file than anything I ever got with the TC on my 300mm prime, which has excellent optics.
Can't get Pentax brand teleconverters now, none that I'm aware of anyway.

Hi Pol
This is a Canon 300mm f4 IS Prime + 1.4 Kenko teleconverter.
Works well for a cheap teleconverter, and does auto focus on this lens.
Really pleased with the lens. Haven't had it for long, but have seen the benefits of using it.Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

It's odd how my Kenko won't work fully with AF on the K20D and F4 prime or the fulltime 2.8 zoom lenses. Nor will the K20D show a red spot or beep when it's in focus. It works perfectly well with the K10D camera though. Strange and slightly annoying as it claims to be fully compatible with the latest kit.
The bokeh from your Canon 300mm is superb. I noted how good it looked on your Kingfisher shot too. Looks like you have a good combination there - handy for handheld without having quie so much weight to carry.
