Are all the lion, meercat and lemur pics taken at full stretch or thereabouts? He's also asking ... is it possible to screw a filter on the front of the lens ...eg a protection filter?

David's already booting up his 'puter and looking at reviews and prices as I type. He's very interested as he already has a Fuji 7000 and a Fuji 1500 that get used regularly by David and our sons. He tells me the only problem he finds with the 1500 is that it can't take a screw filter on the front.

they, will very likely be ordering one anytime soon. I'm happy to let them get on with it just as long as none of them swipe any of my favourite Pentax kit or my little Leica C-Lux pocket jobbie.

P.S ... there are also some very interesting customer images from the HS10 linked from Amazon's page where they're offering the camera.

Tried the link but it won't work so the best bet would be to look up the HS10 on Amazon uk website then follow through their link to 'customer images'

          I love these critters.
Got to see a couple on holiday earlier this year but the darn things just wouldn't stand up for me.
