  • Morning window

We have friends who have moved to France from the UK and their friends in France are now our friends

For the first few days we stayed with Marie-Cecile and her family in the village of L'Hermenault, and this is the view that greeted us on one of the mornings.

It's actually an HDR from several exposures as the contrast was very high, although I hope it doesn't actually look like an HDR!

    Hi

You are right nothing like a HDR. Great picture though. Love the lead in lines

Not like an HDR. Very sensitively done. I like the colour of the left hand shutter at the bottom and the reflections. Yes, it's quite impressive and keeps my attention.

No, it doesn't look like an HDR. I think it looks very realistic in fact, good colours and presence imo.

Which HDR software did you use? Was it Photomatix?

I like the colours and the tunnel effect

A very unusual composition that I really like... Quite inspirational as I too like working with extreme contrast situations.

Care to share more on the range of exposures used

Very crisp, makes me feel like climbing out of the window and exploring the scenery.
