    Thanks Tom, much appreciated.

I've just noticed..........if you look into the barn, you can actually see Steve's sillouette against the barn's rear door. He often seems to find his way into my shots, somehow...

I took a picture from a similar position to Tim, but with a much tighter composition. I was using a 24-105 lens against Tims 17-40.

Gosh Stephen, you and Bearface must have used very similar settings or similar post processing. Colouring and exposure almost match.

Hi Tom, I used just Lightroom 3, using my favoured method of adding form to the clouds, adjusting exposure, contrast etc. until I'm happy. The only extra thing I did with this one was boost the colour temp a little.

I suspect that Tim used ACR in CS3 and worked on the jpeg till he got what pleased him. I've done me best to convert him to LR, but he can be a bit of a Luddite with this sort of thing

It's possible that I may have followed this particular route, yes. Am I really that predictable..?

Putting LR onto my machine was admittedly a great step forward for me, if only because it's so different to what I'm used to. And I have worked on a few of my commercial images with it, so your hard work has paid off to some degree.

Don't let that big Yorkie bloke pick on you.

I still use CS too - though mine is CS4. Canna seem to work up the wherewithal to ugrade to CS5 yet. Too busy and involved with a few real-life happenings atm.

Mind you - there's a big difference, a big jump from CS3 to CS4 imo. ACR is so much better in CS4.

I've got CS3, which I'm very happy with. CS5 does look pretty good, but like you, my wherewithall is otherwise employed at the moment...

**Sticks fingers in ears, shouts "la, la, la, la, la..." and completely misses what Pol just said about CS4 being a big jump from C............doh **
