Different treatment of the same picture

Dear All,

having read a number of recent posts from Stephen re the ability to do most if not all of your editing in lightroom 3 I decided to see what I could do. So armed with a Scott Kelby book and a visit to his website I have produced variations on the same photograph.

All the pictures were edited in lightroom from raw. However I switched to PSE to place the frame around them and do final sharpening.

This picture was taken in Sienna (Siena) during my recent trip to Tuscany. I hope you enjoy.

I don't have time to study and compare all the post editing atm but I just had to comment on the actual shot. I mean - those women, the expression on theior faces, their postures are priceless ... and the pigeon waddling over to join the other 'old hens' is the icing on the cake.

FWIW - at first (quick) glance my favourite is the last one.

Couldn't help but notice that both the sepia and the vintage took out some of the detail particularly of the door on the far right.
For a choice I would go for the last one which clearly shows 4 mother in laws putting the world to rights

Thanks for the comments both. IMHO this was one of the most Italian pictures I took whist there.
