Anne and I have spent the last few days in our usual butterfly haunts and were a little surprised not to see some species we took last year. Plenty of Blues and Whites though. Perhaps the harsh winter kept numbers low this year.

Ann had noticed a caterpillar some weeks ago, then came the hard cocoon then as we were leaving the house last week the little chap was breaking out, awsome to see, thomas got some shots off.
