Been on holiday to the glamorous east coast of yorkshire and this shot with my 18-200 vr I was a little unsure of the background on this image as the lens only has a maximum aperture of 5.6 at this focal length, I would have liked a little more blurry, but given the abstract nature of the background its growing on me. I suppose the ladybird is the cherry on the cake.
The upload washed all the colour out, Im on a new imac not calibrated and also realised I had not saved as srgb color profile.
Still getting to grips with this monster mac!
Nice shot Ash, I like the angle, and the background is good too IMO. The second version has a lovely warm tint too. The only -ive about it is that its has become a 'specimen' shot. Did you do any with several ears of wheat in. This is of course just my opinion
I suppose it is a shot that has probably been done to death but it is new to my portfolio, I think it could have been improved if ide have had my macro lens but I think you can't take everything on holiday
Ill have a look through some more shots tonight and see if I can post some more.
Thanks
Ash.
