  • Now I Know . . . !

Now I know why the buddleia is called the Butterfly Tree, (Over here it's l'Arbre de Papillons), Because I spent a while surrounded by them, trying to take photographs of some. Some of them are very frustrating because of their habit of closing their wings as soon as they land anywhere. I never managed to catch a Peacock fully open even with a couple of GB trying!

    Marsh Fritillary

Somehow I don't think that I shall be taking butterfly collecting up as a hobby.
