Brimstone + Red Admiral

Anne was entertaining an old friend today which got me out of unpacking the bits and pieces (almost there).

I wanted to re-visit a part of the canal some miles from home. The only way was to cycle - some of you may remember, almost three years ago I was meeting a friend to go cycling to a bird shoot only to fall heavily on my hip area. The cycle and I suffered somewhat.
Well, you might have guessed, I got on my trusty steed (me still feeling some soreness from the original fall) but it turned out to be worth it. I seem to have found my confidence once more and hope this leads to a stomach reduction and some meat back on the legs.

I didn't have the best of conditions to get nearer the Red Admiral as it would have meant more stings from the nettles.
