  • Making up for the other day with an odd smile or two

Well after the other day it was nice to have someone in front of the camera who would smile. Even her minder had a smile

Peter, where do you get all these models from? Is this paid work? Or is it your personal reputation that has spread far and wide?

PS I'd like to have seen her without her specs on?

Me too but you have to admit Peter's done a good job in handling reflections from the specs in most of the pics - especially the later pics of the girl.

As for attracting his models ... well I reckon that's probably all down to his stunning good lucks and masculine charm.

I wish it was paid work lol. All done for free I do photos for them with the understanding that I can use any of the photos in club or local competitions. It seems to work . They are all from my face book group which seems to work well most of the time. It works well when you post of photos that their friends can see they then join the group if they like what they see. Sorry never thought of asking her to take her specs off .

            Hi Ash

Yes you would think so but not always. I should have been doing a shoot yesterday off Island on a little Island called Herm. I had shot one of the girls a while back and she was keen to do another. I had set up a free trip on a mates boat there and back and we would have been over there for about 4hours I had times and dates sorted just under a week ago and they knew all the details. Well I was talking to them on face book up to an hour before the off and again all was fine. Well I guess you can see what is coming. When I went to pick them up they both had different reason for not going. Guess how unhappy I was Then I had to go and see my mate and tell him it was all off How small did I feel. Oh and I had taken a day off work to do the shoot. So again guess how unhappy I was

Its a good idea doing free shoots, it gets you known quickly and if you are any good you will get recommended to others.
I wish I could dedicate more time to this sort of thing, its just not the right time at the moment, with a day job, a young baby and a six year old with a busy social life theres alot to do in the day before I even get to read my emails
I suppose my time will come, only trouble is Ill be too old and knackered to even lift my camera bag

Yes I am lucky in that my two kids are at that age they can look after themselves ie 18 and 16. The wife also works on a Saturday when I do a fair amount of the shoots so it just does not become a problem like that. Also if I do the odd one in the week no where is far to go over here so be it the park/beach or even both I can be done in a few hours and back home .
