    Dear All,

Trying something new. Taken just over a week ago with an olympus EP2. Two versions of the same photograph.

Nicely done Josh. I think I prefer the second shot, though the people present in the first one don't really bother me. I wonder why you felt it worth taking them out I'd also love to know which software you used. So far as the geometry of the shot is concerned it looks spot on so the software has done a good job.

          Hi

re the people I took a couple out to see what it would look like and then kept going. Practice helps with my cloning skills Also I quite like the cleaness of having fewer people.

Re the software, Pictures taken in RAW processed in lightroom, then merged in elements 8. I agree, the merge software has got it spot on.

          Best Regards

Both nicely done but I prefer the first one because there are more people to be seen.

It's a lively city and it's the people that bring it to life imho - so although the second one is still a good pano I feel removing the people makes it less vibrant, more stark and barren.

Yes - a very impressive result Josh.

Photomerge may not be the vest stitcher around, but it can do a great job like this at times!

I prefer seeing the people in No1. They are to distant to be obtrusive and fit in well with the image.
