  • Whitley Bay Sunset

Taken last year on a short stay, topless totte bars and drunken layabouts in the morning at 7am asside, there is some nice scenery.
I no I have not got the technical ability of Andrew and Stephen, but I think I have an eye for a good shot, I have the landscape bug

I like this Ash, the light and colour are great. Its my kinda thing I suppose. Never been to Whitley Bay, though you seem to think staying there has its shortcomings Still, from the picture point of view it got you a keeper

Yes Ash, I agree with Stephen here. It's a super photograph and one example where when you break the rules it works. ie the central horizon. You need that cloud on top and it would be a shame to cut the foreground.

      Beautiful.

Thanks guys I think its up there with one of my best landscapes. Looks alot better bigger but I suppose what landscape does not? Ide like to experiment with the slow shutter effect that Andrew has shown, a bit more effort and thought about the scene produces stunning results!

Don't ya just love this forum, it gives ya kick up the backside and tempts ya to do better
