Hi 'norn-iron'. I have just looked this up in our 'Complete Birdwatcher's Guide and there is no doubt about it, is a Red-legged Partridge'. We don't get anything like that in our garden here in Hemel Hempstead. Well captured.

Unusual bird. We are awash with blackbirds at the moment. Not half as colourful.
