I've just been looking through some photos taken last year at Dunstanborough in the NE of England. Its amazing how when you look at shots again you can be inspired to rework them, when originally you didn't bother.
This shot was exposed at -1 EV, mainly in order to keep the sky looking reasonable. However in Lightroom I have been able to increase exposure by almost 2 EV and hold the sky back by using the graduated filter tool and a post crop vignette. I also decided to crop some off the top, and just to keep the tower vertical I rotated and cropped a little. This allowed me to put the tower exactly on a third. Anyway, I felt the end result was much better than the original shot and it was worth sharing.
