There has to be the beginnings of quality in the first place to get a quality image.
I used very similar slight levels changes to both the Legend & Canon JPG images the Legend did require a saturation boost. The RAW obviously received its treatment during processing. All three had the very top darkened also the bottom foreground.
agree about getting the best from an image, however your first post said you've done a comparison and that you found the results very interesting. to apply different degrees of PP to each image (indeed, any PP) does not make for a level playing field and an informed comparison cannot be made.

clearly i've missed the point of what you are trying to achieve or demonstrate. i'd assumed it was to compare the difference between the G10 in RAW & JPG and the camera phone (why else would you put them back to back?), not a comparison of results after unspecified PP has been done to the images. a comparison, for me, is something that compares like with like and uses the same methodology (e.g. the LED diving torch tests on my site).

The object was to compare finished results not a soulless comparison of cameras, this does not take into account for me anyway & I suspect many others what can be made of the output. That was my aim, if you want the un-adjusted files, here they are.
My feelings are they are meaningless until the images are made to look their very best, and that is very subjective.
I'm not a scientist but I do like to think I'm a bit of an artist
