  • Eve from this afternoon 22 year old not a teenager

Sorry not a lot of time to talk about these. I know the dress is a bit blown and I will have to make a note of that for future shoots. Only spent an hour with her and do still have loads to sort out but these will have to do for now.Oh one thing I will say is that I did use off camera flash and the soft box in two of them and am happy with those.

I like the first 2 but think the facial expression and the pose is a bit tense in the last 2

        Thanks Guys.

She did warn me that she would not smile a lot. Maybe next time . I will see if I can find any happier ones and post them tomorrow.

First 2 look like snaps, other 2 look more profesional, third 1 is the best one of the set.
Try telling some jokes Peter, the girls need to feel comfortable in your presence, also try taking some more natural shots when they are unaware.
          Good work keep em coming!

            Hi Ash

Hope you like this one of her sitting on the bench . she was aware of me taking photos but wanted to look at the book. That is natural light as you can guess. The others are a mix of natural light and off camera flash. I used my canon 580ex fired in to a soft box. This was the first time I had used it out doors. I have had it since the start of the year and use it a few times indoors but never out. I will take it out more often that's for sure. Oh and the last one I know she is not looking happy and looking off camera but I find it kind of soulful

Peter the looking at the book one is very good and very sexy, I like it alot, its always more engaging and curious to the viewer if the subject is unaware of the frame being taken.
In the other three she still looks uncomfortable and tense for some reason, the background is not ideal for those kind of shots and needs to be more consistent so the eye concentrates on the model more. For instance if the second had an all black background, with the white dress she would really pop off the frame.

The second shot of the second batch is to me the most successful. Her pose is relaxed and there is a happy face. Part of her hair is lost in the background but other than that, things look fine.

Thanks again for the feedback guys.

I thought you would like the sitting one Ash . I know the background is not the best and we should have shot on the beach but the path was closed off and after walking about a mile in heels along a cliff path I did sort of say this is a good spot and she agreed. I have an idea in my head for a new background that I have not used yet which I think would suit this type of outfit. I am looking at using some really new buildings as a backdrop which would give sharp lines to of set the model. I will also use a few more speed lights to help make them pop from the background.
