Well it seems some have come out better! Female King Parrot & Sulphur crested Cockatoo! These birds are common to rainforest habitat!

These are super its nice to see them so close, used to keep Lovebirds, Rosellas and Cockatiels in an aviery a few years back so its nice to see these

Ash, because my eyesight isn't as good as a younger person's, I go mainly by the histogram which I can see displayed & twiddle the knobs until it seems ok! I'm no hotshot fundi at photography! I really love photography and just stoked when I get some good shots! Maybe a lot of the time its a case of hit or miss for me! However, I'm learning all the time! It took so long to get the focus working manually, that by the time the shutter button was depressed, the birds moved! These are wild birds & not too sure of people bearing cameras! I guess I could just put everything in auto mode & maybe get better results!
