    I used a modern camera (Pen E-P2) but a lens that is probably 30 years old - an OM Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 using an adapter.

    It's a crop to half the area of the frame and I'm quite pleased despite the graininess in some areas (it was taken at 1250 ISo @f/1.4, 100th sec - it was really dark )

    This is one of those pictures that looks so much nicer on a CRT screen than an LCD.

    I like the "Soft Focus" that is similar to the effect we used to get with smeared filters, holes burned in net stockings and the like...

    Often an image such as this looks far better (more as we naturally see things) than one where everything is sharp all over.

    Interesting that you mention this, as I too often prefer the CRT to that of the LCD.
