Thank you Andy for hosting a great subject in the salon and inspiring everyone to put in some great images.

Gee, I'll have to get busy thinking of a new subject. Thanks again.

One of them being chronic indecision and another being, um, cider...
    That just made me smile

Thanks to veggiesosage for running this and congrats to ryme-intrinseca and very well done to PJ, I just knew that was the winner. A stunning picture with so much detail, everywhere you look something different to look at, brilliant.

Hehe, cider got in the way? At least you're honest.

Thank you so much for picking my photo in third place. I've been third three times now and second once, I can never quite do it! But that's because the standard of entries for these competitions is getting better and better in my opinion. There are some truly spectacular shots in this batch.

Huge congratulations to Ekkl and PJPhoto on your well-deserved second and first places.

Thanks for running such an interesting salon, Veggiesosage.

My sincere apologies for the delay everyone, a few things got in the way. One of them being chronic indecision and another being, um, cider...

So, without further ado or delay, here are the results.

3rd Place - ryme-intrenseca. Worth asking about the eligibility of the boats then. I like the angle, the decay, the forboding sky and lots of other little details as well. Lovely shot.

2nd Place - ekkl. You gotta love that sunset and the silhouette of the rather forlorn remains of Brighton's west pier has real atmosphere. Nice one indeed.

    And the winner is....

    is....

    PJPhoto *thunderous applause*

A few of you had your money on this one early and a key part of my indecision was being sure I wasn't just following the crowd. But its a majestic subject, perfectly exposed and some beautiful colours and detail. Fantastic stuff.

Its been fun, there were many other pics that I liked and its been a good turnout. Again sorry for the delayin the results but over to PJPhoto for the next one

    Ok thats your lot people.

There's certainly an interesting and wide subject choice in this one. I'm gonna need a bit of a sleep on it though so results sometime tomorrow.
