I found that this was much harder than I thought at first. Anyway, here is my contribution.

This was taken at daybreak during our recent holiday in Thailand (the colours were spectacular enough to even get me out of bed at crack of sparrows!)

Taken looking out into Phang Nga bay with the infinity swimming pool in the foreground. No colour adjustment, just some noise reduction and sharpening.

I love seascapes too, and am fortunate enough to live near a beautiful stretch of coastline. The place in the photo below is a favourite of mine for fossil hunting. When I switched on the Southern News this morning, the headline was that there has been a huge landslip here overnight, so I imagine it looks a bit different than it did when I took this photo.

Thank you - it really was worth peeling the eyelids back and staggering around at an unholy hour (especially on your jollidays!)

Some great photos so far in this Salon, thanks for showing them, I see I'm going to have a hard time picking out some winners.

I have no chance of winning but I thought I would throw this in, untouched and on a tripod

I also know I have no chance but wanted to take part. I don't live in a place like the salon asks for so this is from my holiday last year. I feel invisible here these days. :0(

You're not invisible, Gina. Far from it!!

I always regard you as a very regular contributor to both forums and galleries.

Sorry to be a pain, but can I change my entry please, or is it too late? I was hoping to be able to edit my original post, but I don't seem to be able to, can a Moderator delete it, perhaps?

Instead of my original picture, I'd like to enter this one if possible please. It was taken in Studland, Dorset. I just loved the almost 'surreal' colours that I could see:

No problem, I can simply disregard the first picture in favour of the new one. Think I will leave it up though if you don't mind, I think its a nice photo anyway
