Re: Fortnightly Salon Competition No. 29 - "It's the Little Things..."
Hi Pops,
It's a difficult salon to judge, as always isn't it?
Im finding it difficult to get into the site because it seems to be taking ages for each page to load. Have you any inside knowledge of anyone else having the same problem or is it my pc? My pc is 2 months old and no other sites are doing this.
Hope you're keeping warm. Give your grandaughter a hug from my grandson Tyler. I showed him her toes today and he turned up his nose and said "pooh", had to laugh.
Kind regards
Gina

The little ones don't hold back...they say just what they think
It's not you...the forums have been very slow this past couple of days. I understand someone is working in the engine room to try and fix the prob.-------------------------

Competition No. 29 is CLOSED - "It's the Little Things..."
Sorry I took a couple days to post the winner! Was going to do it yesterday but I was sick.
So the winners then!
3rd Place: Pete :: Props to you for catching the hairs on a fly! That's a trick and a half! Those suckers never hold still! *giggles*
2nd Place: gina :: Beautiful little teeny baby tootsies! Nice softness to them too.
1st Place: cowcrzy06 :: Very nice composition with the depth of field and to catch the color glint on the wings! And the flowers were smaller than the bee! Very nice.
Did want to give props to stan1968 also on his...
fabulous spider. ^_^ Though yes, I'm terrible afraid of them, I can appreciate that they play a large role in the ecosystem and environments. And that was much closer than I could have gotten to one that size! It was a close between yours and Peter's hairs on a fly!
Well done to EVERYONE though. Thank you for taking the time to notice the smaller things in life. Remember that they are always just as important as the bigger things that sometimes get in the way. ^_^

Good choice on the winner, I love that shot! (though it looks like a Hoverfly?)
Congratulations Cowcrzy! Are you going to be predictable on your choice for the next Salon then?
