In the meantime - you can still post the original image inline and display it the same way as before if you use the 'My pics' link beneath the smilies.
Click on 'My pics' and use the dropdown menus and select "original image" and Inline" .... then navigate your way to the picture you want to post, click on it and that'll make the original image display inline in the posting.
I'm attaching a screenshot with black arrows pointing to the appropriate links and menus. Hope that makes it clearer.

I'd suggest it's probably better just leaving things as they are this time.

OK, cameras down, your time is up!
There were some really interesting interpretations of the subject matter, I had hoped for a few more entries, but I loved the ones that were submitted.
------------
3rd Place was:
Gina's beautiful baby portrait:
A heartwarming picture, and I love the selective de-saturation, and the enhanced blue eyes.
-------------
2nd Place was:
An interesting composition, which I am sure will divide opinions, in mine though, its super.
-------------
1st Place:
Peders self portrait, a nice simplistic image, that has had some subtle tweaks, to produce an interesting image.
Extra kudos for showing the original as well!
So congratulations Pewidane
I look forward to see what subject matter you come up with for the next salon, and many congratulations in winning this salons 2GB memory card.
------------
Many thanks to all that entered, I loved the two following comedy enteries!

Congratulations to Pewidane on a very thoughtful image; also congrats to PJPhoto - very clever combination and to Gina's baby with the blue, blue eyes. Well done to all.
Thanks also to coupekid for managing the Salon and giving us such an interesting Challenge.
I look forward now to seeing what Pewidane has in store for us.
