OMG - I most certainly wasn't expecting this!

It was whilst I was setting up the fabrics for the shot that the squirrel behind me got drunk eating fermented sultanas and passed out on the lawn just a few feet away.

I'll have a little think about the next theme and get the salon up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks Ron. I did feel it was difficult. I did not want to mention any more people because I wouldn't know when to stop and there were some very good ones.

One thing that I did consider when the going got tough, was, "Is this an archive shot, or specifically taken for the challenge?" That earned Pol her extra point!

I have nothing against archive shots. Most of mine have been and the next one will also be, but when someone appears to have specifically set some time on one side and put a special effort in, it deserves an extra point imho (on my weighting system )

There was one picture that had it been better focused, would have been in the top three. That was Stan's rose thorn and the delicate white seed head. I loved that, for this challenge, but I felt it was a little too soft. And now you've dragged me into critiquing one and I didn't really want to, but I could not give it a mention without saying why it wasn't placed.

Ooh, but I am glad its over.

Well done to everyone and thanks for entering. Just remember, give Pol a run for her money. Let her have lots and lots of "Thoughts" pictures.

I couldn't agree more Audrey. Its always more of a challenge when you shoot specifically for the theme
