Re: DPNow Salon Competition No 21 - A sense of wonder
Yes I am pleased with it & I nearly overlooked it until I looked at it in a bit bigger format! Makes up for the many duds I guess. I have another that I was tossing up in submitting which I will place in for critique! Thanks Ben!
Here is my entry. Our grandson at the Butterfly House daring to touch a millipede.
Awwww. He's a very cute little fella and it's also a lovely shot. They're gorgeous at that age.

Reminds in some ways me of the time our second son first walked by himself to see Santa. He was so awestruck and so chuffed he was walking without help that he tripped and fell flat on his face at Santa's feet.

Thanks Pol.
You are right, he is so cute. We had 3 boys and a girl and now I think he will be the last grandchild of 7. We are so lucky to have the benefits without all the hard work.
Re: DPNow Salon Competition No 21 - A sense of wonder
And the Winner is .............................
I chose this one from all the excellent entries received because the attitude of the young fellow is typical of the title of the competition. OK the photo could do with a bit of cropping and maybe his shoes should have been recorded but it did it for me.
Second is the excellent study taken by Gina.
Third was the seascape by Ryme-intrinseca. Typifies the beauty that nature can give (if you are prepared to get up early enough).
It was interesting running this competition. Thank you to all competitors for their entries.
