I'm so thrilled -- woo hoo -- yay!

This is the first time I've won any photographic comp or even got close so thank you so much Jeremy for choosing my entry for GENERATIONS. I felt I got lucky that this theme was chosen and my mum came to visit and as my daughter and grandson were here I couldn't resist setting up the shot.

Thank you to everyone who has left kind comments and congratulations to Paul and Pewidane as runners up. The memory card will come in handy for the Canon EOS 400D I'm buying this week.

Thanks again for running such a good salon Jeremy, I have a lot to live up to with the next one.

Salon competition no. 18 is in the thought process ... watch this space!

Excellent choice on the Canon 400D ..... had mine since they came out and haven't been disappointed yet. Still finding things I didn't know it did

Must read the manual one day ....

(btw - the 'benches' in my photograph are flat tombstones all dating back to the late 1700s - guess they served to foil grave robbers too.)
