    Good choice.

Looking forward to the next few salons - on my travels again for 10 weeks and hope to do the next 5 salons from the pictures I take on the way.

Daughter is in Sydney. She has booked a Hot Air Balloon ride for my xmas present. We are also taking the India Pacific rail to Perth foe Xmas, flying back to Sydney for the fireworks at New Year that we will watch from an open air resturant near Mrs MacQuarries Point with the Opera house just in front of the bridge - this view - but at night.

Wow! A trip of a lifetime!

I was born there (Newcastle) 57 years ago - haven't been back in almost 55 years

              It's on the to-do list!

And thank you PAT! What a great photo subject and I'm amazed to have been selected the winner

Well done everyone else too of course!

I'm still not sure how the cloud shape formed, though it's likely to have been a plane, the tightness of the turn seemed very odd to me!

Anyway - on to Salon 254 - it's over here:

This will be our third trip to Oz in 9 years.
Second trip of a lifetime. Three years ago to celebrate our retirement my wife and I went travelling for 5 months thinking it would be our last trip to Oz but while we were out there our daughter, then working in London, landed a job in Sydney and is now being sponsored for residency.

We spent a week in Hong Kong, 7 weeks touring both islands of New Zealand, 8 weeks touring Australia and then travelled home by ship - a 5 week cruise visiting Mauritius, Reunion, South Africa, Namibia, St Helena, Ascension, Morocco and Portugal

                  Our trip is recorded here

Not a professional looking site - all done with basic html
