First a big thankyou to all who entered and supported this Salon. It has proved a hard one for me to judge as the standard photographically was, as we have come to expect from this forum, excellent. Basically I was left with choosing an image that fitted the theme best. Decay has many sub headings and Neglect was one that seems to be responsible for most of the Decay we see around us. Rusting boats, cars and buildings are quite common. All man made. My selection was made on the basis of naturally occurring Decay, so the winner of this Salon is Rab with his beach shot of nature doing its best to clean-up the remains of a dead whale.
Well done Rab. A splendid image. Over to you then.
Thanks Ron for running this salon, and for giving your reasoning for choosing the winner.
I agree completely. Rab's whale is superb, and fits your theme perfectly.
Well done Rab. A very well deserved win. Over to you.

Well. Thank you Ron.
Great subject that tested us all and I very much appreciate your explanation of your choice.
I am in Scotland right now but heading back south in the morning to start packing up our house at long last. If I don't post a new topic later tonight I will do it tomorrow evening.
Thanks again
