    Re: Salon 241 Religion

Along with other holiday makers we entered the Vatican and heard what I assumed was a recording of something. I then saw people taking photos and as they moved away I saw all these people in turquoise neckerchiefs. We had seen them all morning walking around Rome and had wondered why they were dressed like that. And then ... ... ... I saw a man at the end with a pointy hat on - mitre hat! It was the Pope and I took a photo and I can't see him on this image. I can't believe that he's vanished, but believe me he was there, blessing all these pilgrims.

Anyway, here is the picture. Oh, I forgot to say, it was 1995.

Thanks to everyone who participated. All excellent images but I think Andy's
Hare Krishna just shades it. It stands out of the crowd so to speak.
Good luck with Salon 242 Andy.

          Thanks Gez -

An interesting subject and entries I think proved it.

The winning entry reminds me of the George Harrison song years ago.

          Congrats from me too Andy.

Thank you Gez and everyone. This was taken in Canterbury, probably the last place I'd expect to find anything to do with Hare Krishna although another religious connection.

I'll think of something and post it up in the next day or so.
