I think a honey bee (not some kind of fly or wasp?) sipping nectar from lavender in our garden. Fairly confident it's a honey bee as there were quite a few of them. Nice to see them, which is rare at the moment; we mostly have bumble bees.
Has to be said this was only just taken in early evening, no sun, and it was a bit breezy, so ISO 6400 and a fair bit of cropping. But the results isn't too bad. Going to try harder for my second entry though!
