I really like a number of images where the border or fence or wall is really secondary to the main subject. So although I like them very much out go the deer and the vines along with the robin and a couple of others. Right very strong contenders are Barrie's barrier, Patmoore's stone wall, Caz's long and winding fence, vegiosage's garden wall and Horatio's home fence (which by the way puts many of the exhibits at the Royal Academy's latest Abstract Expressionism exhibition to shame in my opinion).

I am really torn but I have to come off the fence and my selection for first place is Barrie's barrier with Horacio's home fence a strong second, followed closely Patmoore and Caz in equal third place. Highly Commended goes to all the others.

Thanks for showing me some fine images.

    Hi Kurt -

    Thanks so much.

Your challenge if I had set it would have given me a headache in which one to choose, it certainly must have been a difficult one for you to select your choice, I'm pleased it was mine.

Congratulations to the runners up (winners all in my mind).

I need a day or two to think of the next Salon.

    Thanks again Kurt.

    Regards. Barr1e

i like the information you post, if you are not against, I propose you http://bigpaperwriter.com/blog/care-...-expressionism for getting to know how to write on abstract expressionism!
