Welcome to the 203rd competition. I would like to see as many and different chimneys as you have spotted from anywhere in the world.

The grey day and boring sky didn't help the image, but I couldn't resist this ugly brute.

                  Re: 203rd Salon - CHIMNEYS

Sorry to take so long to submit an entry. I spotted this chimney in Middletown, Connecticut last night.

If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much room.

Just a few more hours. You've not been very busy whilst I have been on holiday! Any more for chimneys?

                        Re: 203rd Salon - CHIMNEYS

Thank you all for your entries. As the Challenge was Chimneys (plural) that is how I did my selection. Very interesting to see all the different images, particularly Horace's chimney from the inside. I liked those two.

In third place we have andym's 'View from Telegraph Hill',

In second place we have Veggisosage's Ratcliffe on 'Soar Power Station,'

                        and the Winner is ... ... ...

Gez with his 'Dartington Chimneys.' I just love all these chimneys and the little cross in the garden made me wonder if t was part of a cemetery.

Congratulations and over to you Gez.

Thanks Autumn for selecting my image. There is a small cemetery in the foreground which belongs to Dartington Hall and its gardens near Totnes.

Well done all entries, and Autumn for the salon, which deserved more entries. Congratulations Gez.
