    Re: Challenge 174 - A WINTRY SCENE

Every time another entry appears, I think Oh! I like that! I know this is going to be so difficult, because there are so many good entries and it will be down to my personal choice. There are about 5 winners already.

Never mind the pretty stuff - this is what winter is really like.

Only 24 hours to go. Any more?

So many that fit the bill and that I like. Too hard to choose ... ... ... must make a decision tomorrow.

                Re: Challenge 174 - A WINTRY SCENE

This was truly hard. There were so many images that fitted the bill. Thanks for your efforts.

                In joint 3rd place:

Veggiesosage and AndyM both gorgeous images.

In second place: Pat Moore with the beautiful scene from Yellowstone and

the Winner in First Place is:

David Morrison with his scene from the Hope Valley in Derbyshire - beautiful sky David.

Each image had something unique and almost all of them warranted a place. In the end as you can see I had to go to four winners and then 1st and 2nd could have been either.

Well done all of you and thanks for such a good turnout. Over to you David and I hope that we get as many entries next challenge.

                  Re: Challenge 174 - A WINTRY SCENE

Thank you very much Audrey, I must admit that the competition was such that I wasn't sure whether I would stand any chance. So many excellent images must have made your decision pretty difficult.

Anyhow it's now down to me so I will start the next Challenge after some thinking as to a suitable subject and I will post the details tomorrow.

Once I saw David's entry I ran home. Previously I was just walking fast! A worthy winner!

Just take it easy. There's always tomorrow. And if tomorrow doesn't come, you won't have wasted any effort on it.
