Just along from the Pilot Inn, never quite sure if this is Lydd on Sea or Littlestone. A little steam train would really have given it away.

Spot on, it's The Pilot. It's actually in Dungeness, the corner at the bottom of 'Dungeness Road' (next to the entrance to the Dungeness Estate.

If you continue along the 'Coast Road' you come to 'Lade Beach, Greatstone then Littlestone in that order. Turn left at Greatstone and you get to New Romney.

The chip shop in the other picci is at Greatstone, the bottom of Dunes Road. Excellent chippie but the Kebab shop next door is even better.
