Fantastic Audrey, I don't exactly know why but I love this image, you have the 3 men positioned perfectly, and if I didn't know you better I would have been convinced it was set up or you had blended 3 different exposures.

Here is my entry: My wife, a Master Dollmaker, at work this PM. I didn't recognize her talent until she began getting recognition in contests, writing articles, creating techniques to handle special situations, and teaching classes at regional and national meetings. Only wish I had some small share of her artistic talent.

Here's my submission:

Last weekend I hired a floor-sander for my daylight studio, which is a sizeable room of approx. 100 sq m, surrounded by windows. Because of the past industrial use and the age of the place, it barely made a difference to the wood, so I'm now looking at a more aggressive means of cleaning the floor up.

Anyway I figured that the project would be an ideal subject for this Salon, so I set up the tripod, used the ambient, natural light and the camera's timer to capture me working (or not...) in different parts of the room. The camera was set to manual and RAW (so there was no in-camera processing involved), and the blending of the images and the post-processing of the individual exposures were done manually in Photoshop. I've added some grain and selective shading to the shot because I felt the original was somehow too clean-looking to suit the context.

I apologise in advance for my appearance. Just pity those who have to live with me
