Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all the nice comments and I apologise for the delay in replying.
I am enjoying my first visit to the UK for twelve years and have been unable to find a friendly computer to use - but here we go

Don't panic! An emotion may be exhibited by a human, an animal, an illustration, a cartoon etc and in many other ways. Thinking caps on, it won't be an easy one.

I wasn't aware that you had specified these must be taken within the time frame of the Challenge.

Actually the rules don't state this but there has been some discussion on this point and some recent curators have requested that entries all be new. Clearly, I think you will have an advantage with Roger if you do post a new image

Here's my first one (from my archive):



This was shot in 2010 in the Philippine town of Hilongos, Leyte down at the local market. No idea what upset this little chappie, he was fine until I started taking photos - err, maybe that was it!

A brand new photo coming up later this week.

Emotion isn't an easy subject, you can't just shoot it on demand like a landscape or still life - and the challenge has only been running a couple of days!

Perhaps I'll try later - one shot of my wife's face when I tell her I'm having an affair and another when I tell her I'm only joking!
