  • Challenge 161 'Sky'

Ok, bit later than I hoped not super original either (didn't think you'd fall for 'Book Title' so soon) but I like the sky so I thought it would be good if you took some pics of it.

Let's also make this a non-archive comp too so you've actually got to go out and snap something new.

The requirement is that the main feature of the photo must be sky, be it clouds, stars, sunsets, aurorae whatever. Yes other things can be in for context but it's the sky that matters; horizons, planes birds etc must very much be in a supporting role.

I hope this meets with your amusement, let's see what you come up with

    Rules

    1. All photographs are to be uploaded to the photo gallery at http://dpnow.com/galleries/

Sorry for the branches on the left side. I could have cropped them but I like them. It is a patagonian sunset day before storm.

Took this Saturday and just uploaded it to the Gallery. Does it count?

Autum has come to my city, the skies are ver dull and not very photogenic. I enclose a picture taken today.
It is a couple gone to the sky.

Here is a shot I took on Wednesday while lost in the woods above Loch Ness with folk from the local camera club. It was very dark when we eventually found the cars again, but this viewpoint might be worth re-visiting with some proper planning

Well, no photogenic skies here in the last week or so. Mostly wall to wall grey this last weekend. I had to put some Earth in the picture to give any interest!

Taken this morning at Hatfield Forest. The feather-like quality of the cloud caught my eye.

Thanks Ian, but a few other entries have caught my eye, including yours, and there are a few days to go yet.
