Well as we're going through a very stormy spell here in the UK lets try "Power of Nature".

I'm thinking stormy seas, rain, wind or even hot sunshine, open to you're interpretation.

This is what you do

• Post up to 3 images in this thread. You can use the forum attachment system or link from an external website.
• Any photos must be your own work.
• Each salon is open for two weeks and this one will close on Wednesday 26th of Feb at 23:59 GMT.
• The salon curator then chooses three photos from three different contributors in order of his or her personal preference and the one deemed the best endows its owner with the job of curating the next salon, after choosing a new topic.
• The salon curator doesn't compete but can post some examples, if necessary, to give some inspiration.

Great topic! Your lightning shots are far better than any of mine so I'll go in a different direction.

First up: The "Eye of the Storm". During a rest stop on the way to Milford Sound in New Zealand I captured this ominous looking cloud.



This shot was taken in Munich. The storm brought down a few trees.



And lastly, this simply shows the wonderful variations nature provides us. It's a view of Okemo Mountain in Vermont taken from the eighth tee of the golf course in Autumn and again yesterday.
