I'd say parallel is a state of mind - anything can be parallel to something even when we don't notice in the first place and sometimes we will never notice the things other notice. Even triangle could have parallel lines - it's all in your head.

I'm stunned! The competition was formidable. My wife and I were marveling at the wonderful submissions and the creative thinking. It was a great subject.
I hadn't anticipated having to come up with a new subject. It might take me a day or two. Stay tuned.....
