Only two more days to go before the competition ends so if you were thinking of entering do it now before it's too late! Some excellent entries so far, I can see that it will be difficult for me to pick a winner.

Rats! Digging through my archives I discovered a better one than the one I entered! Oh well....

Re: DPNow Salon Competition No.128 - "Clouds"

Thanks to all who entered the competition, it has been difficult but interesting to pick a winner. It was also hard to pick a third placing so I will have a joint third.

Joint 3rd: Pat Moore with the shot from a plane ( I can never get pictures as clear as this from a plane window), and Andym for his Angry Sky ( If I keep looking at this I can see the face of an animal complete with an eye, nose , mouth and teeth near the centre of the picture!)

2nd: Audrey with her Norway picture. I like the way the stone stack pattern matches the shape of the clouds.

1st: Horacio with his dramatic cloud image. Excellent contrast of different cloud types and colours all in one image.

Thanks again for all the entries, over to Horacio for the next salon competition.

                    Regards,

                    Geoff.

Congratulations Horatio, I knew it was a winner as soon as I saw it! Also well done to Pat and Andym and thanks for ranking mine second.

Thanks for running the salon Geoff and I was pleased to see a decent turn out. Let's keep it up or ... ... ... even try to increase the number of entrants.

I look forward to Horatio's next challenge.
